Paris Jackson Possible Suicide Attempt Rushed to Hospital
TMZ.
"Paris Jackson left a suicide note and then cut her arm with a meat cleaver ... TMZ has learned.
Sources with an intimate knowledge of the situation tell TMZ ... Michael Jackson's daughter called a suicide hotline and the person on the other end was alarmed enough to call 911.
Our sources say in addition to cutting her right forearm, Paris had taken a large number of Motrin pills.
We're told once Paris was taken by stretcher to an ambulance and then transported to a nearby hospital, she was placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold for 72 hours.
She received "numerous stitches" for the cut.
As for the suicide note ... we do not know what she wrote.
TMZ broke the story ... officials first responded to Paris' home in Calabasas around 1:30 AM Wednesday morning."

Prince an unlikely witness at Michael Jackson trial
Article.
"Prince is reportedly a potential witness in the high-profile Michael Jackson wrongful death suit against AEG Live — but those familiar with the Purple One say he’s unlikely to take the stand. “Prince is so far down on the witness list, he will more than likely never get called,” explains impressively named music blogger Dr. Funkenberry, who very well may have earned his Ph.D. in Prince-ology. He adds there’s historically been bad blood between Prince and AEG because, “In 2007, Prince performed 21 nights [at O2 arena in London], a record. AEG promised him no one would perform more nights than him. In 2009 AEG booked Michael Jackson there for 50 nights before [his] death. So AEG went back on their word which upset Prince, obviously.” But, he adds there is no lingering bad blood or ongoing politics: “Prince is embarking on his tour . . . in mid-April and some of the dates are with AEG.” A rep for Prince didn’t get back to us."

Prince Could Be Called to Testify in MJ Wrongful Death Suit
TMZ
"Prince and Michael Jackson never worked together in their illustrious careers ... until now ... because TMZ has learned Katherine Jackson intends to call Prince as a witness in her wrongful death lawsuit against AEG.
As TMZ first reported, MJ's mom and three kids are seeking $40 billion in damages from AEG or its alleged negligent hiring and supervision of Dr. Conrad Murray.
According to docs filed earlier this month, Katherine's legal team plans to call nearly 100 witnesses ... with one of them being Prince.
It's curious, since Prince and MJ never collaborated, but we're hearing Katherine's legal team believes Prince had a bad experience with AEG in the past that could be relevant.
Can you imagine Prince on the witness stand?
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.""

Purple Rain Halloween Costume!
+If you know me by now, you know that I love dressing up in different costumes around Halloween time. It has always been my favorite 'Holiday'. I love dressing up as celebrities in particular. The last couple of years I have gone out as Lady GaGa 2 times, and Michael Jackson last year. Well this year I will continue with my trend and perhaps live out a little wish of dressing like Prince. I am always influenced by his style and look. He is a very fashionable man and I, of course, adore and respect him. It is hard to integrate his looks into my wardrobe really firstly because he is a man, and second of all a lot of the looks I love so much are from the 80's and are not really acceptable to wear now. I will always be a fan of the shoulder pads, studs, big hair, rhinestones, etc... even though I can't always pull it off.
Halloween is giving me an opportunity to rock a Prince look and I have been planning really since last year when I went as Michael Jackson. The last couple of months I really got my plan into gear. I went to the thrift shop and found a purple blazer and a black curly wig. I bought pyramid studs, white buttons, and a frilly blouse online. Recently I put the studs into the jacket and sewed the buttons on a pair of pants.... and then, easily enough, my costume was complete!
I tried the complete look on today for the first time and I am quite happy with the results. Of course I don't look anything like Prince and I look like Prince if he had grown some boobs and gained a lot of weight but anyways... here is my attempt at Prince's Purple Rain outfit that is an iconic piece of history... can't wait until Halloween so I can wear this out!!!

My Collections - Part 3 - Michael Jackson
This is the third part in my collections series, Michael Jackson.
I am sad to say that I wasn't really a fan of MJ until he died. I had always known of him and admired him but never really took the time to appreciate his work until it was too late. Before that I remember my dad playing his records at home, songs like "Billie Jean" and "I Wanna Rock With You" all the time. And of course when I was in high school my friend and I would joke around going "a hee hee hee" and "a hoo hoo hoo" in Michael Jackson voices. Also people would call me Michael Jackson here and there because my skin is pale white lol!
Then when MJ died on June 25th 2009 I remember I was at work that evening and my coworker had just been on break and I guess he was listening to the news or something because he came up to me all of a sudden and goes... "did you hear?" and I said no, what... and he says that Michael Jackson is dead. I was very doubtful... I said no it wasn't true... but I was shocked the rest of my shift at work and then the next day it was all over the news of course and it was just so surreal. For about a week all I could think about was the loss of MJ and I felt sad and shocked even though I had never even met him or anything, it just seemed like a dream.
From then on I bought a few MJ things here and there but nothing too big. MJ will always be in my heart.
This is my MJ button pin and sparkle glove. I got the pin at at table at the flea market that sells all Michael Jackson things... I knew I had to have one. They had quite a few but my mom told me I should get this one because he looks so happy and he's smiling. And he wasn't so happy looking in the other pictures. The glove was made by my mom. On the 1 year anniversary of MJ's death, my parents and my boyfriend and I went to a club. My mom and I dressed in matching outfits of jeans and MJ tshirts and she made us these sparkly gloves to wear.
Music & Movies
My Off The Wall record album that I got at the thrift store one day. It's a shame I don't have a record player or I would play it and buy more records too.
Then there is the This Is It DVD. I saw This Is It in theaters with my mom when it came out... such a wonderful film. There was even an MJ impersonator who was dancing around before the movie started.
The next one is a dvd set of Michael Jackson's music videos. My boyfriend bought it for me as a gift for my birthday last year.
And then there is the "Michael" CD which is songs that they made from pieces he did in the studio before he died. I think the album is great.
My magazines that my boyfriend bought me right when MJ died
My shirts. The first one I got at the flea market right when MJ died... I have worn it sooo many times. The second one I found at the thrift store one day and grabbed it.
My collectible action figures... my boyfriend surprised me with these one by one last year... he kept coming home with a new one every week and I was like omg how many of these do they make!!!
And Then of course I showed this before but this is my MJ plaque, again it is a gift from my boyfriend.

MJ's Hair
I saw this video on youtube the other day. It is a video from when Michael Jackson was shooting his Pepsi commercial in the 80's and his hair caught on fire. Apparently this is the exact moment that changed his life forever. He would never be the same again. This event was what got him hooked on painkillers and other addictive medicines and ultimately, what lead him down the path to his tragic death caused by overdosing. If this had not happened to him he probably would have been a different man. It was a very traumatic experience for him.
