Michael Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray,
was found guilty of
involuntary manslaughter
today. The verdict was read shortly after 1pm
Pacific time.
Throughout the six-week trial in Los Angeles,
prosecutors portrayed
Murray as a careless
physician whose negligence caused Jackson
to die
while under the effects of the drug propofol.
Murray is expected to face
up to four years
in prison and the loss of his medical license.
