THE BORN THIS WAY BALL!

Yay! I saw Lady Gaga last night in my hometown at her show "The Born This Way Ball"
It is the 4th time I have seen her live but it is the first time I have seen the Born This Way Ball. It was a very good show.

I had to work that day and I wasn't able to leave too early so I got to the show after the doors had already opened. I had floor tickets so by the time I got there, there was no space at the front. I wanted a more calm concert experience anyway because every concert I go to I end up in bad fights with other fans over trying to keep my spot in front so this time I hung out in the back and I did not end up in any altercations!

The website said the show starts at 7:00, the tickets say 7:30 so I didn't know who to believe! But when we got there around 7:00 it was still an opening act on stage. I wasn't really sure who or what it was so I wasn't too interested in watching. Around 7:30 "Madeon" came out, who was another opening act. Madeon is a DJ and he was spinning dance music until around 8:00. I enjoyed this because I love dance music and it was really nice to listen to.

Then we waited and waited and waited for something to happen but it seemed to be taking forever and I was getting annoyed and tired and sore. Gaga finally came on around 9:15 and soon enough I was fully excited!

I wasn't close to the stage so it was kind of hard to see anything but the sound was very nice. Lady Gaga has such a nice, strong voice and she could sing anything and it would sound good.

There was a vendor selling glowing hair bow headbands that change colors and I wanted one so my boyfriend tracked her down as she was walking around and he bought me a glowing hair bow... yay! I wore it the whole concert but it was so tight on my head it was giving me a headache.

All in all, I was pretty happy with the concert. I enjoyed all the songs she sang and they sound pretty good live. Would I see Gaga again? Of course! Can't stop now!

My Collections - Part 2 - Lady GaGa

Part 2 of my collections series... Lady GaGa.

I have quite a bit of Lady GaGa things. Not quite as many as my Prince things but it is still a lot. Lady GaGa things are easily found everywhere and are not such a hard search to find. I buy almost all the Lady GaGa things I see because I can't resist.

I became a GaGa fan around summer 2008. I went camping that summer and we brought the radio. "Just Dance" kept playing... it was an okay song, didn't really fall for it or anything but I downloaded it. Where I was working at the time, it played on the radio and a guy i worked with told me how he was in love with her and he went to her show that week and she jumped into the audience onto him and other people.... it got me thinking about her. Other friends started talking about her so I was looking her up on the internet a lot and I watched the video for Just Dance and was like "cool". On youtube there was a video saying that her next single would be Poker Face so I heard poker face and went 'HOLY CRAP I LOVE THIS SONG' and then downloaded the whole album... kept up following her since... and the rest is history.

This is my copy of V magazine... I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this at the magazine store. They usually don't sell it in Canada I think.

Shirts! I love wearing GaGa shirts in the summer and a lot of people that know me know that! I can be spotted in lots of photos wearing my different shirts here and there. They are nice and comfortable, so why not!
The first one I ordered on Lady GaGa's website but it is way too big on me because I didn't know which size was right. The second one I got at H&M. The third one I bought downtown at a street fair.

... more shirts...The first one I got at the 2nd Monster Ball that I went to from a guy selling them outside, the second one I got at HMV but it is too tight, the third one I got at The Fame Ball from a guy selling them outside.

... and more shirts! The first one I got at the downtown street fair (I have the exact same one in pink too but I forgot to put it out for the photo) and the second shirt my boyfriend got me as a christmas gift from HMV.

This is my homemade Born This Way jacket that I was inspired to make after seeing GaGa's BTW jacket. I knew I had to have one. Getting the right materials was very challenging but I eventually figured it out. I have not worn it out yet though because I am afraid it will get ruined... oh well!

And so concludes my GaGa collection... but there will definitely be more in the future!

Lady GaGa items!!!

So I ordered some items from the official Lady GaGa website in the beginning of october hoping that I would get my stuff for Halloween..... of course I didn't and had to improvise!!! So every day since last week I have been checking my mail non stop to see if I had gotten my stuff yet. And today I open my mailbox to find...... my package!!! It's too late for halloween but oh well I don't need a special occasion to go GAGA! I bought a hairbow which I am sooo happy matches my hair color!!! I bought lady gaga's glasses and I bought a tshirt that I liked that happened to be on sale. I love the bow and glasses but I am a bit upset because I didn't know what the shirt sizes would be like because some places make their shirts very small so I took a large and this shirt is too big for me! I hope it shrinks in the wash!!! I will take pix of me wearing my stuff tomorrow! For now here are pix from the Lady Gaga website of what I bought.

Here is my GaGalicious outfit I wore for Halloween! My boss made a bow in my hair out of my own hair and I didn't need to wear my ugly wig! It was so cool! My boyfriend dressed like Hannibal Lector. Here are pix of us!
